Job Description A day in a life of an Art Director As an Art Director you will join our rapidly growing Graphic Design team. Reporting directly to the Graphic Design Team Lead, the ideal candidate should have an eye for creative and artful design, possess up-to-date skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs. The successful candidate will work on a variety of products, giving at the same time creative guidance to a team of graphic designers ensuring quality standards. Your main duties will be to: Co-ordinate a creative team giving creative directions and solutions Ensure consistency on all creative materials based on specific guidelines Allocate client requests of deliverables and overview the design process Translate business requirements into visual elements, creating aesthetically pleasing visual materials according to specific guidelines Liaise with editorial and internal communication teams Understand creative briefs and be flexible to stylistically and visually make the best out of them Mainly focus on designing and layout books, large publications (reports, brochures), flyers and several communication materials such as banners, roll-ups, infographics, logos, icons & charts, newsletters, ppt presenations, e-pub and general stationary materials Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software (Adobe's Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Advanced knowledge in InDesign is required. Follow established creative direction for the company as well as given brand guidelines Execute all visual design stages from concept to final (print or digital) Qualifications If you have… Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or any other relevant field 8-10 years minimum of working experience in the field of graphic design, preferably with a publications or creative agency focusing on layout Extensive expertise with Adobe Creative suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Good knowledge of MS Office Manifested tendency to creativity Knowledge of graphic design trends and industry developments A portfolio of work Ability to multi-task, manage changing priorities and meet deadlines Effective time management skills Strong communication skills in English A positive attitude and a growth mindset  Strong design skills & conceptual thinking …then this position is suitable for you!
