Responsibilities
- Researching market trends, competitors, and potential clients to identify sales opportunities
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients while also developing new client contacts
- Having a deep understanding of the products or services being sold, including their features, benefits, and applications.
- Creating sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
- Preparing proposal, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with clients
- Providing ongoing support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns they may have and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and stay updated on industry developments
- Working closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and client management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, in Maritime Studies, in Sales and Marketing, in Engineering / Technical field
- Fluent in English verbal and written
- Proven experience in sales and especially in maritime sector or industry is highly desirable
- Ability to travel domestically and abroad
- Driving license
- Familiarity with the maritime sector or industry is essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and certifications related to PPE is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
