Responsibilities

  • Researching market trends, competitors, and potential clients to identify sales opportunities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients while also developing new client contacts
  • Having a deep understanding of the products or services being sold, including their features, benefits, and applications.
  • Creating sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
  • Preparing proposal, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with clients
  • Providing ongoing support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns they may have and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and stay updated on industry developments
  • Working closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and client management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, in Maritime Studies, in Sales and Marketing, in Engineering / Technical field
  • Fluent in English verbal and written
  • Proven experience in sales and especially in maritime sector or industry is highly desirable
  • Ability to travel domestically and abroad
  • Driving license
  • Familiarity with the maritime sector or industry is essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and certifications related to PPE is a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
