The role We are seeking a highly motivated individual looking to be challenged and to grow their skills in software development. You will work alongside the two co-founders, the senior developer and UX designer to assist in maintaining the existing platform and rolling out new features. While a degree in Computer Science or Engineering puts you in good stead, we are also keen to see candidates from other backgrounds who can provide a git repository with samples of the work they have done. Key Responsibilities Front-End Development: Utilize Next.js to create and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications Design Implementation: Transform wireframes and design mockups into pixel-perfect, interactive user interfaces Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and consistent user experience Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and ensure the best possible performance, scalability, and user experience Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and functionality of the front-end components Version Control: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories effectively Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in front-end development.
