UBITECH is looking for a new member to join our Network Softwarization and IoT (NSIT) engineering team to build and integrate systems following our well-established development methodology and solid engineering principles. Requirements The candidates must have a degree in computer science/engineering or electrical engineering (computer science direction), and show: ● Demonstrable experience in OOP languages, such as Java, Python or C++; ● Experience with an application framework, such as Spring or Quarkus; ● Testing mindset and an eye for clean code; ● Understanding of containerized workloads deployment via Kubernetes;; Any additional experience in one or more of the following will be considered as a plus: ● Basic experience with Pub/Sub systems and especially with Kafka; ● Knowing your way around a Unix shell and be comfortable with a version control system, like Git; ● Experience in microservices development; ● Experience in microservices deployment tools (e.g., Docker, Ansible, Helm) and cloud orchestration; platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenStack); ● Experience in CI/CD methodologies using e.g., GitLab-CI. Targeted Positions’ Levels ● Mid level (Ph.D. or M.Sc. with 2-3 years of experience or B.Sc. with 4-5 years of experience working in related fields), ● Junior level (M.Sc. in related fields or 1-2 years experience), or ● Entry level candidates with good programming skills and basic knowledge on the above-mentioned fields will also be exceptionally considered.
